The Killers Close Leeds Festival 2008 In Epic Style

The Killers closed a weekend of Festival madness as they took to the main stage at the Leeds Festival last night.

The Las Vegas band kicked off their evening with ‘For Reasons Unknown’. Connecting with the crowd lead singer Brandon Flowers complimented the good looks of the masses telling them:

“You have beautiful eyes and beautiful voices Leeds. Let’s keep it going.”

Throughout their set they covered their 2006 single ‘Somebody Told Me’, followed by ‘Shadowplay’, the song they recorded for the soundtrack of the 2007 film ‘Control’.

Fans were sent wild with favourites ‘Mr Brightside’ and ‘Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine’.

The band closed the show in style, with Gold Fireworks raining from the stage roof and guitarist Dave Keuning rolling around on the floor with confetti raining down on the crowd.
