The Guitar Hero game will celebrate its launch later this month with three REM songs made available for download.
The downloads will be taken from the bands latest album entitled ‘Accelerate’, with the singles being: ‘Horse to Water’; ‘Man-Sized Wreath’; and ‘Supernatural Superserious‘.
‘Guitar Hero World Tour’ also announced that they are making a Classic Rock Set available for download, including songs such as ‘Hot Blooded’ by Foreigner, ‘Rock and Roll Band’ by Boston, and ‘Jessie’s Girl’ by Rick Springfield.
‘Guitar Hero World Tour’ is set for release in the US on the 26th October.
This isn’t the first time Guitar Hero have made records available for fans to download. The new Metallica album ‘Death Magnetic’ was made available for the last version of Guitar Hero. The ‘Death Magnetic‘ download can also be used in the new version of Guitar Hero.
