Scarlett Johansson = Courtney Love in Cobain Biopic?
If I was the co-producer in a film about me and a certain late superstar grunge musician, I’d certainly want to cast someone as glamorous as possible to play me. By choosing the person myself, I’d definitely over exaggerate my looks and physique.
It seems that I am not alone in this mindset as Courtney Love wants to line up Scarlett Johansson to play her in an upcoming film about Kurt Cobain.
When asked about her feelings on the role Johansson described it as:
“It would be a challenge, definitely would be a challenge. I think the idea is interesting and intriguing, but I would have to really wrap my head around it”.
I can definitely see her having to wrap her head in something in order to look like, Miss Piggy, Courtney Love.
James McAvoy or Ryan Gosling are being lined up for Cobain’s role – of which I think Gosling is the best option.
The film has been scripted but is clearly at the early stages so watch this space for a release date.
