Ian Brown“We did it because we wanted to change the world, we didn’t do it because we wanted to be millionaires.” says Ian Brown to NME in response to a question about reforming The Stone Roses.

Brown states that he would only contemplate a Stone Roses reunion if he was left “begging on the streets”.

In the words of Lloyd Christmas (Dumb and Dumber) : “So you’re saying there is a chance!”

Can anyone think of how we can make this happen? We need to rid Ian Brown of his fortune!

Lets face it Ian, your solo career has been mediocre in regards to what the Stone Roses were. Stop being stubborn!

In the same interview the star went on to say how much he dislikes the “cash in” mentality of bands that reunite – but did mention some exceptions to the rule, namely The Sex Pistols and The Specials.

Ian Brown is headlining at this weekends Leeds and Reading Festivals.
