Muse Announce ‘The Resistance’ Release Date
Muse have revealed today via their website muse.mu, that their new album will be released on September 14th.
This will be the bands fifth studio album and is called ‘ The Resistance’.

‘The Resistance‘ is the follow-up album to ‘Black Holes and Revelations‘, which was released in 2006.
Muse will obviously be hoping for the same if not greater success with this new material as they had with their last album.
‘Black Holes and Revelations‘ earned the band a Mercury prize nomination and in 2006 the album finished third place finish in the NME Albums of the Year.
Muse are expected to play plenty of material from their forthcoming album during their UK and Ireland tour dates in November of this year.
Tickets went on sale on June 5th and dates for the tour in 2009 have been announced as follows:
4th November - Sheffield Arena
5th November – Liverpool Echo Arena
6th November – Dublin O2 Depot
9th November – Glasgow SECC
10th November – Birmingham NIA
12th November – London O2 Arena
13th November – London O2 Arena
