After announcing his biggest ever UK tour dates, Dylan Mills aka Dizzee Rascal has revealed how his aim for his upcoming UK tour and new single ‘Bonkers‘ is to get people up and dancing.

Speaking to reporters he revealed how he would much rather have an impact on peoples social lives and getting them up to dance and enjoy themselves, than being a role model.

Dizzee doesn’t mind being an influential figure in young fans lives but seems to want his music to do the talking.

‘I hope I can inspire people, but more importantly I hope I can make people dance!.’

‘It’s looking like ‘Bonkers’ will be the catchphrase of the summer and that’s good, I just like people being happy’.

Previously we reported in our article ‘Dizzee Rascal Announces Biggest Ever UK Tour’, how Dizzee is set to perform 17 dates across the UK starting this October.

However, he did admit that his own fancy footwork may need a little bit of practice before the tour begins saying,

‘I couldn’t dance like Michael Jackson. I couldn’t pull off the moonwalk like him, that’s some serious shoes to fill, isn’t it? I would support him on tour though.’
