Usher Reveals “Monster” Album Details
R & B star Usher has been busy in the studio recording his sixth studio album.
The new album will be entitled ‘Monster‘ and is the follow-up to Usher’s 2008 album ‘Here I Stand‘. Usher will be hoping for similar success for ‘Monster’. ‘Here I Stand‘ gained platinum certification in the US and worldwide sold 2 million copies.
There has been no official date for the album’s release but it is expected some time in the autumn and will be released through Jive Records.
The singer, who has been out of the spotlight for a while now, confirmed via his blog on Twitter that he hasn’t just been taking it easy, but has been instead turning his hand to a spot of acting.
It seems he has a cameo appearance alongside Ashton Kutcher and Katherine Heigl in the upcoming film ‘Five Killers‘, a Robert Luketic-helmed thriller.
He tweeted (Twitter), “Here on the set of Five Killers. I’m headed in now for my first scene with Ashton and Katherine.”
