Possible Joaquin Rap Site Launched
For anyone who has footage of Joaquin Phoenix, um, rapping, you can now submit that footage to Casey Affleck for his, um, documentary via the website JoaqDoc.com.
Anyone submitting video to the site would of course be surrendering it for the royalty-free use of Casey Affleck and the, um, producers of the upcoming film.
Rolling Stone Rock Daily uncovered the site when a request for footage was posted as a comment on the news site.
It seems that there is no confirmation as to whether the site is authentic or not. There is a note on the site claiming to be from Affleck that reads,
“I am making a movie about Joaquin Phoenix’s transition from movies to music. If you have any video that pertains to this topic and would like it included in this film I would like to use it.”
Does this mean that Affleck actually wants to incorporate video of Phoenix falling off the stage, jumping off the stage to confront hecklers into this so-called documentary?
I sincerely can’t wait for this one to come out.
Rolling Stone took the liberty of emailing the site in search of authentication, but apparently the email address listed on the site does not actually exist.
Post your precious Joaquin footage with caution.
The actor-cum-rapper keeps insisting that this career jump is for real, even if no one believes him. Spencer Pratt from MTV’s The Hills is a more credible rap artist at this point.
