Eat it“, just “Eat it” was the words chorused by Michael Jackson’s doctors in the wake of his summer touring.

The 50-year-old star is set to begin a whopping 50-date tour, kicking off at O2 Arena this summer.

However, doctors have warned him to gain weight for the task ahead, claiming he is “too fragile” and that his BMI is alarmingly low.

It has been quite some time since Michael appeared on stage, since his aqquital in 2005 in fact, and doctors fear he is just too frail.

A British Newspaper reported,  “Docs are worried he won’t have the strength to perform. He’s been told to drink protein drinks called Metric to beef up.”

However, desparate to clear his £100 million debt looming over his head and regain a little bit of dignity after having to sell/close his Neverland Ranch, Michael is said to be keen to continue with the planned performances.

The summer performances are set to begin on 8th July 2009. i guess we’ll all just have to wait and see if Michael is up to the job.
