Kayne West To Headline Wireless Festival 2009
With the festival season fast approaching, organisers of the ‘Wireless’ Festival have announced their headlining act to be US rapper Kayne West.
The London festival set to take place in Hyde park on 5th July will see Kayne take the stage on the second day as the headlining act.
The rapper has confirmed that this is the only UK festival he will take part in this year. Kayne is quite a catch for the Wireless Festival. Just this year alone he has won a Brit Award for Best International Male, sold out shows at the 02 in London and released his fourth album, ‘808’s & Heartbreak’.
Kayne will certainly be on top form at the event, most likely looking to out perform last years headliner Jay-Z and bringing with him a string of performances with hits such as Gold Digger, Through The Wire, Stronger,Diamonds From Sierra Leone and Heartless.
Confirmed acts for day one of the festival (Saturday 4th July) are The Streets, Dizzee Rascal and Paul Oakenfold , with Basement Jaxx as the headliner.
Tickets for the festival go on sale at 9am on March 27th.
