At the top of the Bill for a day at the UK’s Bestival on Isle of Wight (on Satuday, September 12) will be German electropop group Kraftwerk. The festival is organized by DJ Rob da Bank and will be held the entire weekend, from September 11 to the 13, at Robin Hill County Park.

Headlining on the 11th will be Massive Attack, the electronic group due to release their next album around the same time as Bestival is to take place. Bat For Lashes will also have a headlining set on the Big Top stage that day, and their next album, Two Suns, will be out April 6.

Awesomely, Brooklyn’s own electro-rockers MGMT are slated for Bestival, as well as the equally awesome (in their own folk rock way) Fleet Foxes. Fleet Foxes’ debut album is not only loved by critics, but by Brits as well, who put the album at No. 10 on the British album chart.

Also to take Bestival’s fourteen stages are the acts Squarepusher, Beat, Future Sound of London, Florence & The Machine, Little Boots, Friendly Fires, Passion Pit, and Hockey. And, apparently, this year’s dress theme will be outer space.
