Want to Purchase Michael Jackson’s glove?

Jacko is back in the news (when is he not, really) because he’s auctioning off his signature sparkly glove, along with a bunch of his other Neverland possessions.  So if you want to own the highly dignified former entry gates to the ranch, get yourself to Juliens Auction House Tuesday April 21 (to April 25).  If you don’t happen to be in the Los Angeles area, you can bid on Jackson’s stock of sculptures online.  Viewing for the auction is scheduled to take place from April 14 until April 20.

For super enthusiastic buyers, a six book auction catalog is available for a mere $100. You can get a signed copy for $500 (plus shipping and handling)! Other than Jackson’s Billie Jean glove, the catalog lists arcade games, garden furniture, paintings, and life size bronze sculptures.

An unspecified portion of the proceeds from the lot are going toward the charity of MusiCares, so start your bidding in early February.  (Though common sense tells you Jackson is going to keep a healthy portion of those proceeds, in order to make back payments to any, say, Princes of Bahrain.)  On February 15, bidders can register and check out the 2,000 items online on the Juliens website.
