Oasis Noel Gallagher Attacks Bloc Party And Metallica
Not content to just quarrel with the likes of Jay-Z and Kaiser Chiefs, Noel Gallagher has now turned his efforts on scorning Bloc Party and Metallica.
Noel was heard to say that he liked just about everything about Metallica except their music! When asked why he disliked them, he was heard to say: “Metal is not my thing. Wanna know why? Black drum sticks … no need.”
Noels comments maybe a little harsh as just a mere month ago, Lars Ulrich, Metallica drummer said the Gallagher brother had helped him quit drugs saying “’if he can do it, everybody else can do it’.”
Perhaps the publicity is just what Metallica need coming up to the release of their “Death Magnetic” album next week (September 12th).
Bloc Party were another band who didn’t escape the backlash of the Oasis guitarist, who is currently on tour in North America.
Speaking of Bloc Party’s new album“Intimacy” released for download last month, Noel said: “I wouldn’t go out and buy a Bloc Party record ’cos I know it would be shit.”
Oasis new album is to be released on 6th October and will be titled “Dig Out Your Soul”.
