Muse Working On Fifth Album
Muse Drummer Dominic Howard has been telling all how they have been busy writing tracks for their new album.
The bands fifth album which as of yet has no title is a follow-up to Muse’s 2006 ‘Black Holes and Revelations’.
Speaking to the BBC, Dominic told reporters:
“We’re working on new stuff and we’re gonna have a couple of weeks off and then in about two weeks time we’re back out to Italy to start writing again. We’ve already done a few tracks and it sounds great, so we’re just working towards the future.”
The band were of course referring to recording in their studio near Lake Cuomo in Italy.
Howard also told how they penned a few tracks before their headline at the V-Festival 2008 (16th & 17th August).
Lets hope that experience gave the band the inspiration they needed to finish the much anticipated record. No official release date has been set as of yet – and we can’t wait.

Matt Bellamy here. I just want to announce a tad unofficially that the next album is coming in 2009. It’ll be called Shiver, and we’re releasing the 15 minute orchestral piece as the title track. We have more influence from electronic and orchestral music, and Chris will sing lead vocals on some pieces. Matt.
They’re, of course, so many Matt Bellamys on this world.
Some are real genius like the one we love
Though there’re also some idiotic hypocrites
and you are the idiot type

That does not sound like the real Matthew Bellamy. All of that stuff sounds like something anyone can conjure up with a little help from Google and Musewiki.com. Still can not wait to listen to the 15 minute orchestral piece and the songs with Chris as lead vocalist. Also, really hope to catch them live when they start touring again in the states.
I never said I was the Matt Bellamy.
