Amy Winehouse Hits Out At Glastonbury

Amy WinehouseSaturday night on the Pryamid stage was more than just a concert for Amy Winehouse. The troubled singer is simply not content with just being a good singer and entertainer. No – Winehouse also wants to be the best fighter as well.

While strutting her stuff along the front of the stage (i.e not on the stage – right in front of it), she was pleasing the fans who were crammed in behind the metal railings. She dandered over to the far side of the stage only to be hit by a hat that had been flung up the front by a crazed fan.

Instead of rising above the reach for fame, Amy turned to confront the first person looking like they might have had something to do with it. Of course, this usually never means the guilty person gets their come-uppance. Instead the ‘Rehab’ singer launched her elbow repeatedly at an innocent fan, connecting with him on the forehead.

The shocked festival goer, James Gostelow, from London has leapt into the limelight to have his moment by releasing mobile phone footage of the incident. The BBC have that clip here.
