R. Kelly must be really sweating his fast approaching sexual abuse trial as he has his lawyers scrambling to have the case postponed - again.It has already been six years since the ‘I believe I can fly’ star was outed, after having allegedly made a video of himself having sex with a 14 year old girl between 1998 and 2000.

Of-course the R’n'B singer/rapper has glossed over his panic by indicating that any postponement is purely to ensure that he gets a fair trial. Kelly believes the publicity around the case prevents the trial from being deliberated fairly.

While there is definitely some truth in this matter, he should realise that 6 years is a lot of time for the dust to settle and that public interest in the case will not dampen due to his chosen career path and world fan base. Publicity, after all, makes and breaks a musicians career. So while he clamored after it in order to drum up sales - he cannot simply make it go away.

With any hope the Judge presiding over the case will throw the postponement request out and we can finally put this one to rest.

Britney Spears seems to be doing better and better since her parents started taking control of her health, career and fortune.

The Los Angeles Superior County Court has recognised this development in the stars life and granted her extended visitation rights with her two children.

Sean Preston and Jayden James have been in full custody of their father Kevin Federline since January when it was determined that Britney had officially gone off the rails.

Kevin seemed happy with the ruling and said that it was “recognition of the progress that has been made, a progress of structure and stability”.

A court spokesman also release a statement from Ms. Spear’s parents, indicating that they were extremely please with their daughters progress and that they appreciated the courts recognition.

Is it some mental problem, the drugs or her general attitude that keeps Amy Winehouse in the news for all the wrong reasons?

The singer was released on bail late last night after being arrested on drug possession charges. This comes just a week after being arrested on assault charges.

Winehouse is due to appear in court later this month to face charges.

An undoubted talent, distracted by drugs and nonsense - this is a woman wasting her gift.

Mark Ronson was recently interviewed in regards to the theme tune for the next James Bond film (one of the biggest and best movie brands of all time). He was meant to be recording the theme tune with Amy but this had to be cancelled due to the “issues” going on in Winehouses life at the moment. Mark is quoted as saying that Amy is “unfit for work”.

All of these “issues” are self created. Drugs and a banged up, drug dealing husband don’t make for the best of living conditions and the Grammy winner really has made her public worst of it all.

Surely her parents should now be stepping up to their duties just as Britney Spears’ parents have. It’s ridiculous that they haven’t done something already. Their daughter is an anorexic drug addict.

It’s very sad to watch.

This song is much like a Beatles tune I never heard - that I would almost swear that it’s a cover. Noel takes lead and it’s a really cool, building song.

Stop The Clocks

This one is all about the lyrics, although Oasis have obviously had it in the locker for a while as their 2006 Greatest Hits/Best Of album was named after it. Either that or they named that album Stop The Clocks and thought that it would be a great name for a song. Its dramatic, aged and seemingly in tune with Noels fear of growing old and falling out of touch. That’s not going to happen any time soon Noel - so relax.

Nothing On Me

Classic Oasis. When you listen to this song - you drift into a very large stadium (Wembley) and hear this booming through the speakers, shaking your body with every beat.

Lil Kim is insistent that the car was a gift, given to her 4 years ago and while telling the repo guys where to go she said that she’d have her accountant take care of the problem.

Here was me thinking that these things were bought in cash. It’s a pretty nice gift but shame on the person that decided to stop paying for it. The credit crunch has hit all industries if this is anything to go by.

Having met on the set of her video ‘Bye Bye’ in March, Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey have wed in an off the cuff ceremony in the Bahamas.

The news was made public via facebook and confirmed by a close relative soon after.

There isn’t any confirmation from the actual couple yet and there wasn’t any real news about the pair being in a relationship before a Jewellers, Jacob and Co., announced that they had made the ring. Thanks for ‘mum’s the word’, mister jeweller.

I’m sure the news will break many hearts around the world. I personally thought Mariah was saving herself for me - but this news has put the kibosh on that.

Two months isn’t that long to weed out each others bad points though - so here’s hoping this isn’t another flash in the pan wedding that lasts 6 months.

Coldplay’s first single from their latest album (to be released in June) has been downloaded over 600,000 times in 2 days.

Violet Hill has been available as a download for free from the bands website since yesterday and all you have to do is give up your email address.

The song is something you’d expect to hear on X&Y, the bands previous record. Although that album sold millions around the world I was hoping for something extra from Coldplay this time around - a new dimension. Radiohead have had little problem recreating themselves with every album but Coldplay seem to be continuing along the same path as before.

I don’t doubt for a second, and this is all based on their first single, that the album will sell millions ’cause after all - good is good - but I wish they had taken a chance and experimented.
