Velvet Revolver Kick Weiland
In a previous post : Velvet Revolver Not Feeling The Love we reported that there had been some harmonic rifts with some band members in Velvet Revolver. This has all now come to a head and the majority of the band members have decided to boot lead singer Scott Weiland out.
Slash has come out to say that Weiland was neither committed to the Music or the fans and this has lead to his leaving the band.
Scott’s commitment was surely to be examined when the singer announced that he would be part of the Stone Temple Pilots reunion.
It seems this is almost a repeat of how Guns’n Roses blew up in the end. Axl Rose had the same bizarrely erratic behaviour that Weiland has been exhibiting. Maybe its just something about being around Slash, Sorum or Kushner that makes singers go crazy?
To put it on the record : I didn’t think Scott Weiland was the best choice as front-man for the band anyway. His voice just isn’t Heavy Metal/Rock’N Roll enough for my liking.
The only question left now is : Who should replace him?
