The UK has put forward a bin man and Ireland is to be represented by a rubber puppet. Sound like entertainment?
Errr’m, no.
Andy Abraham is to belt out ‘Even if’, seen below, and Ireland’s Dustin the puppet is to perform Douze Points.
I don’t know about you but these entries make a complete mockery of everything the competition used to stand for. Some of the recent years winners are just as bad.
In my opinion the UK and Ireland should just opt out of the competition, informing the organisers that they are simply not interested as these entries are quite obviously pathetic.
Pity the people (i.e you and me) can’t simply veto this crap as it makes us all look bad.
