Pete Doherty Schedules London Solo Gig
Sunday, November 2nd, 2008
Pete Doherty is set to play a one-off solo gig this week at Monarch in Camden on Thursday (November 6).
The Babyshambles singer will play the acoustic set with support from The Vaults, a four-piece suffolk group made up of Beaz Harper, Richie Kicks, Eddie Treasure and Jimmy Vandel.
Doherty is also set to perform a re-scheduled date for his solo gig at the Manchester Ritz on November 13, after it was cancelled on October 3rd due to illness. The singer was set to play but pulled out of the show at the last minute, leaving fans waiting in disappointment.
We previously reported in our article “Pete Doherty To Line Up Solo” , how Doherty announced his plans to release a solo album. That was back in January 2008, when it was allegedly “just over-half recorded”.
