Susan Boyle Sings On Britain’s Got Talent Live Tour
Britain’s Got Talent Live Tour kicked off in Birmingham on a high note with Susan Boyle once again wowing crowds.
The 48-year-old overnight singing sensation sang ‘I Dreamed A Dream’ and ‘Memory’ from Cats and stunned crowds with every high note that she hit.
This is the first time that Susan has performed since narrowly missing out on winning Britain’s Got Talent to dance group Diversity.
The race for the prize on Britain’s Got Talent was a close one: Diversity won with 24.9% of the votes, just beating out Susan Boyle’s 20.2%.
Susan subsequently suffered a minor ‘emotional breakdown’ as we previously reported in our article ‘Susan Boyle Hospitalized After BGT Finale’. She soon recovered and has now joined fellow BGT performers on the live tour.
The live tour will run over 23 nights to packed out venues, but despite Susan’s performance, at one time her presence on the tour was said to be doubtful – that is until Mr Simon Cowell himself stepped in and boosted Susan’sconfidence, reportedly telling her that she had a “bright future” ahead of her.
After receiving a standing ovation at the Birmingham performance, Susan’s spirits are sure to be lifted, with the Priory days well and truly behind her.
One crowd member at Birmingham’s National Indoor Arena said: “Everyone was wondering how Susan was going to do. But she looked confident and her voice sounded amazing. She didn’t look like someone who was in the Priory just a week ago.”
Susanis expected to begin working on her west-end themed album when the tour finishes.
