Mariah Records New Album At Night
Mariah is up to her Diva antics again it seems, driving music producers potty by refusing to do any recording of her new album – except….at night!
40-year-old Mariah is currently in the studio in the wee hours of the morning recording for her new record entitled ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’.
The singer kept fans updated of her weird nocturnal habits by keeping them posted via her Twitter page.
on Wednesday night (10.06.09), she posted, “In the studio. driving the engineer crazy cos I’m a control freak and once again we’re STARTING at 1:16 am..perfectly normal: )”.
Umm….No.
The star, who is married to rapper Nick Cannon, cannot be faulted on her fearless attitude to hard work. Mariah has chosen to record all the backing vocals on the album herself, making the process all the more time consuming.
Pondering her decison of recording all her own backing vocals, Mariah tweeted (twitter), “still in the studio. Hopefully I’ll finish this one tonite. It has a lot of bv’s and I’m doing them but you know I like that mess.”
Mariah kept fans updated on Twitter until she stoped recording at 4.15am on Wednesday morning.
Lets just hope the music bosses and producers think the end product is worth the lack of sleep!
