Susan Boyle Released From The Priory, Looks To US Market
Internet sensation Susan Boyle has left The Priory, the London clinic where the star was receiving treatment for reported exhaustion, according to her brother Gerry Boyle, who spoke to GMTV on Friday.
Gerry said: “She’s much happier. She seems a lot more like herself. I think things are becoming clearer now and she’s much more content. I believe she’s in the middle of London, in a flat in London.”
Boyle has been recovering from her overnight flight into fame and endless attention from the paparazzi, who have been doing their best to provoke the amateur singer.
Stress began to show itself through Boyle’s actions leading up to the Britain’s Got Talent finale, when the singer would regularly burst into tears and threaten to leave the show.
She may have lost BGT to Diversity, but more is still expected to be heard from Boyle, as many predict she will sign with Simon Cowell’s Syco label.
There have also been rumors concerning a Hollywood film role for Boyle.
Though she may have been disappointed with the outcome of the television talent show, Gerry says of his sister:
“She’s absorbing the fact that America has a huge appetite for her and she’s now beginning to believe that yes, indeed, I will be a singer and there will be a recording career beyond it. It’s all she’s ever wanted to do.”
