Though singer-rapper-actor Drake hasn’t yet hashed out the details of his major label debut, the artist’s friend and collaborator Omarion has found a home at Lil Wayne’s Young Money Label.

Omarion and Drake, who appeared together on Drake’s So Far Gone mixtape, have just become labelmates – at – least until Drake moves on to more mainstream things.

Speculation of Omarion’s business dealing began as these things often do, on Twitter. Tyrese, of nineties R&B fame, posted a congratulatory message at the Grammy-nominated singer about his new contract. Omarion officially confirmed (also via Twitter) the signing to Young Money on Monday.

Omarion has not released an album since his 2007 collaboration with Bow Wow, Face Off, which pushed 365,000 copies off of US shelves, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The former B2K member was previously working with T.U.G./ Sony Urban Music/ Epic.
