Spencer Pratt Makes Video For “I’m A Celebrity” Rap
There appears to be a music video to accompany the horrendous rap song Spencer Pratt has produced, “I’m a Celebrity,” and just like you’d expect it features a kiss-blowing Heidi Montag instead of hot video chicks.
Oh, but there’s a twist – sort of – the video co-stars a collection of overgrown reptiles.
First, Spencer and Heidi aka ‘Speidi‘ are in a car, and then they’re in the jungle playing with a snake, and then Heidi puts a scorpion really close to her mouth and then they’re in the car again!
So…wait, why is this news again?
Apparently Spencer is referring to himself as “the white Jay-Z” but probably not because he actually thinks that – most likely he’s just trying to goad people into hating him because, um, without the “haters” no one would care about him and his lovely wife.
Spencer and Heidi found their fame playing the sinister couple foil to Lauren Conrad’s heroine character on the staged reality show The Hills, but now that Lauren is moving on from the show the two are desperately clinging to the limelight, with this song being a perfect example of that.
I guess that makes me a hater, so I’ll be expecting a thank you card from Speidi real soon.
Spencer is as serious about his rap career as Joaquin, yo! He’s been in a studio with producer Steve Morales (who’s worked with real rappers Lil Wayne and Fabulous), and he told Billboard.com:
“I have two songs that are album contenders. It’s gonna be catchy ringtone music, just stuff that is entertaining and that people want to be hearing. I’m not the most serious dude on earth, and my music is going to represent that.”
The song “I’m a Celebrity” also doubles as a promotion for the other reality show Speidi are about to do together, I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Convenient.
[EDIT] Oh, snap, this just in via US Weekly via TMZ: a source told the gossip mag that Heidi and Spencer have quit I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Apparently on the show’s live premiere, which aired last night, the couple threatened to quit twice, and Heidi’s dry shampoo was stolen by the other celebrity contestants after a tantrum from Spencer.
To get even, Spencer squirreled away wrestler Torrie Wilson’s bag in a secret location. Sorry I missed it.
