Eminem Meets Sacha Baron Cohen’s Ass
“Is the real Slim Shady about to stand up?” asked Sacha Baron Cohen’s alter ego Bruno at the MTV Movie Awards, after the comedian had dropped from the ceiling, perfectly arranged to plant his bare butt (which was looking pretty smooth… along with those legs) in the rapper’s face.
Every cheesy morning news show was airing footage from this stunt on music network last night.
I myself first learned of it from Twitter, as I was either fortunately not watching an awards show that would think so highly of Twilight or unfortunately missing out on the biggest possibly-completely-staged stunt of the network’s year – however you want to look at it.
No one knows if Eminem was feigning disgust at being punked by gay fashionista alter ego Bruno or if the rapper was in on it beforehand, with Eminem’s entourage tossing around Baron Cohen like he was another Richard Monroe Jr. just for show.
The rapper’s angry exit from the scene seemed to be captured by cameras and microphones a bit too well if you catch my drift.
On the other hand, Eminem is already known for not being able to handle the comic antics of a puppet (see: Triumph the Insult Comic Dog vs. Eminem), so it seems like his actual reaction in this situation would be one of a) disgust (being homophobic and all) and b) flight – which is just what happened.
