iTunes Live Fest to Feature Oasis, Flo Rida
Among the first acts to be announced for the iTunes Live: London Festival are Oasis and Flo Rida – a combination I think you’ll agree just makes sense.
The festival is to take place throughout the month of July at the city’s Roundhouse venue.
Also confirmed to perform at the event are Kasabian, Snow Patrol, Paolo Nutini, and the Saturdays.
Of course, more artists will be announced at a later date to maximize press.
There will be a total of 62 bands to float through the Roundhouse for the fest, which can hold an audience of 3,000.
Beginning July 1, the iTunes gala will take place for 31 consecutive nights and involves 62 bands.
Tickets will be given away for free to competition winners who register at http://www.ituneslive.co.uk/ as well as at an iTunes Live Facebook account.
The iTunes Live Website and Facebook profile will feature video highlights as well as live audio broadcast from these performances.
Just like any other iTunes Live event, all of these performances will be recorded and sold through the iTunes stores.
A few of the shows will actually be broadcast in the UK, on TV networks ITV2, ITV1 and on radio stations XFM, Capital Radio, Choice FM and Heart.
