Amy Still Doing that Train Wreck Thing
Looks like we spoke too soon when we mentioned the notion that Amy Winehouse isn’t always a train wreck in our article “Amy Winehouse isn’t always a Train Wreck“.
The “Back to Black” singer has been taken to the hospital in St. Lucia, making this her second visit there in a month.
Winehouse was rushed to the hospital when she fell ill at her home on the Caribbean island.
The Sun reports that the singer’s friends were forced to call an ambulance for her.
Amy had been carted off to the hospital less than three weeks ago, on May 2, and at that time it was said that she was suffering from dehydration.
This time no details have been released as to what exactly was wrong with the singer, though she has already been discharged since her hospital visit yesterday.
Fans who appreciated the train wreck aspect of Amy Winehouse will be pleased to know that a documentary based on the singer’s time spent on St. Lucia will be appearing on television screens later in the year.
According to Amy’s MySpace page, the doc, Saving Amy, was made by Daphne Barak, who has been spending some time with the singer and her family on the island.
