Jay-Z and Ciara to tour in July
Jay-Z has just announced that he will be headlining a series of performances, which will be opened by R&B singer Ciara (who will be promoting her latest release).
The rapper will head out on the road beginning July 3 in Las Vegas, according to Billboard.com.
During these shows, Jay-Z will be backed by a band.
Ciara is slated to open for all of the tour stops, though only five of these have been announced.
Ciara Tweeted (Twitter) on Monday night: “I will say it because the information has been leaked. Me and Jay-Z will be doing a 10-city tour run together! More details coming soon!”
The singer, whose current single with Justin Timberlake finally garnered enough fan attention that her album could be released, will also be touring with Britney Spears on the European run of her Circus tour in June.
These are the confirmed dates for Jay-Z and Ciara’s tour:
July 3: Las Vegas, NV (The Pearl At The Palms Casino Resort)
July 4: Las Vegas, NV (The Pearl At The Palms Casino Resort)
July 7: Chicago, IL (Charter One Pavilion At Northerly Island)
July 10: Uncasville, CT (Mohegan Sun Arena)
July 12: Atlanta, GA (Chastain Park Amphitheatre)
