Pink Regrets ‘Funhouse Tour’ Theme
Pinks “Funhouse” tour is not set to kick off until this summer in the US, but has already set off a chain of criticism.
The theme of the tour is a circus to match the name of her album, also entitled ‘Funhouse‘, however, the stage setting seems to be posing striking similarities to Britney Spears‘ ‘circus tour’ stage show.
She had this to say, “Had I known that certain other people were going to base their latest thing about circus things, I probably would have went into another direction.”
Pink also claimed she came up with the whole ‘circus/Funhouse theme‘ and entire six months before Britney announced details of her show.
“I was six months before that and didn’t really understand that it was a trend that was happening. I’m pretty out of the loop.”
Tickets for the US leg of the tour go on sale on Friday 1st May at 10am.
Current dates and venues announced are as follows:
15th September – Seattle, WA at WAMU Theatre
17th September- San Jose, CA at HP Pavillion
20th September - Phoenix, AZ at Jobing.com Arena
24th September - Houston, TX at Toyota Center
28th September – Fairfax, VA at The Patriot Center
The show is currently showing in the UK, playing tonight (Wednesday 29th April) in Liverpool, Echo Arena and the last UK show takes place on Friday. 1st May in London’s O2 Arena.

LOL , the way you americans twist words is funny and pathetic. Firstly, no one is criticizing p!nk for her show. Name me one newspaper who has criticized her, from the places that she toured in…and she did start her tour in Feb 24th in Nice, France. Britney Spears started her tour in March 8 or 9th. Professional Reviewers have called P!nk the best live performer in the world, throughout Europe. She has not toured Australia yet but already sold out 50 arenas shows in only 5 cities. The american media attitude towards P!nk has been baffling because you endlessly praise and sympathise with someone who lipsync through her whole show but strangely critical of someone who sings Live throughout her 2 hours show and is the hardest worker on stage that i have ever seen plus has one of the most powerful live voices in the world..
Hey,
First off – we are not discrediting Pink in the slightest. She is a great performer – no doubt.
We also havent twisted anything. Pink has said all of this herself.
There was a difference of about 2 weeks between the start of Pinks tour and Britneys. Yes Pink was first – we havent said any different.
To be honest – What other theme could either artists have chosen? The Circus theme was really their only option. Personally, I don’t really care if there was any copying (which I doubt anyway).
