Liam Gallagher Confirms Oasis are Not Splitting
Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher has played down the recent rift with his brother Noel.
Liam confirmed what millions of us already know – that he and Noel have had the same arguments for the past 15 years. Maybe its just brotherly love then!.
Liam was quick to point out that Oasis are not splitting.
This revelation comes after we reported in our article ‘Oasis Brothers won’t Record Together Again Until 2014‘, how Noel claimed he won’t get into a recording studio with his brother for at least another 5 years.
Of the recent feud, Liam had this to say: “Things are not good. Not good. He likes Oasis and I like Oasis, so I’m not leaving and he’s not leaving, so we gotta do it, but we don’t get on, so I can’t be a**ed, man.”
He continued: “He’s different and I’m different. We’ve done well, 15 years at it – 15 years of having problems together, we’ve done pretty well.”
Liam also added how he feels the tension in the band just feeds the creativity and how fans should all be more worried if the fighting actually stops, saying:
“I think the minute we start getting happy and holding hands and being like other bands then I think it’ll be over.”
“This is the tension, it’s like he wants to outdo me and I want to outdo him.”
A psychologist would have a field day trying to sort this one out!!
