Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys Head Up Austin City Limits
Lined up to be the main stage acts for the Austin City Limits Festival this year are the Dave Matthews Band, Pearl Jam, and the Beastie Boys.
The eighth annual event, scheduled to take place in Austin’s Zilker Park on October 2-4, will also include musical acts Kings of Leon, Ben Harper and Relentless7, Thievery Corporation, the Dead Weather, John Legend, and the Levon Helm Band.
More than 130 bands and musicians are slated to take the stages at the Texas festival, including: Sonic Youth, Mos Def, Toadies, Flogging Molly, the B-52s, Lily Allen, Citizen Cope, Arctic Monkeys, the Decemberists, Coheed and Cambria, Andrew Bird, Girl Talk, Phoenix, Poi Dog Pondering and Los Amigos Invisibles.
Featured musical genres at the Austin City Limits Festival span pop, rock, hip-hop, country, blues, indie rock, and reggae.
