Simon to Susan: “Get Yourself Together”
Simon Cowell is already sick of hearing about Susan Boyle, and he has a message for the YouTube singing sensation:
“Get yourself together sweetheart for the big one — the semi-final. Shut the door, choose the right song and come back as who you are, not who you want to be.”
Quite sound advice if you ask me!
Cowell has heard enough about the 47-year-old Scottish resident’s eye brows, cats, hair, and the fact that she has never been married.
He told TV reporters in Los Angeles, “She has got four weeks to prepare for the biggest night of her life, and she has got to sing better than she sang before with all those expectations on her. But it could all go horribly wrong for her because there are so many other distractions.”
Though she is a huge hit in the English speaking media, and internet viewers have watched her video over 100 million times, Simon warns that she has not won anything yet.
If you are living under some kind of unmovable boulder or something, be advised that Susan Boyle is a spinster who took the world by storm after an audition on Cowell’s show Britain’s Got Talent in which she completely shocked the judge panel and audience with her incredible vocal talents.
Her dowdy appearance may have originally had the audience laughing at her, but two seconds into her song had the audience roaring with applause.
