Amy Winehouse’s Dad Flies To Her Rescue
Daddy Winehouse is springing to the rescue of his daughter.
Amy Winehouse’s dad is flying out to St Lucia to visit her and provide a little bit of fatherly advice/support.
Amy is currently on holidays in the Caribbean island of St Lucia and has been for quite some time.
We previously reported in our article ‘Amy Winehouse has Album Rejected‘, how Amy has been working hard on material for her new album whilst in St Lucia - which her record bosses aren’t yet too keen on.
But it seems Amy’s personal issues seem to be taking more of a centre stage at the minute with reports that her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil, is expecting a baby with another woman.
It seems Amy also had an accident this week, burning herself whilst cooking pasta.
Mitch Winehouse is understandably worried about his daughter, who is no stranger to troubled times.
Amy’s mother, Janis had this to say, “He’s concerned about Amy, but then he always is. Although she’s taking more care of herself, there are still things going on which are troubling him.”
She, however believes that this may just be the turning point that Amy has needed, “Amy needs to be hurt by him, in order to see him for what he really is. In a way this will be good for her as it will open up her eyes. I just hope this revelation helps to get the divorce moving.”
Seems Amy has plenty of family support around her. Lets just hope she can make the most of it and begin to get her focus back into her music again.
