Oasis Frontman Liam Gallagher Discusses His Favourite Bands
Not usually one to give positive comments to any band, or person, or place, or anything for that matter, Oasis frontman, Liam Gallagher has been telling audiences about his favourite bands to listen to at the moment.
“Right now, there’s a band called Freepeace that are cool”, he announced, on a video aired via his website for his Pretty Green Clothing Range. “I think they sound like late-Beatles, to be honest.”
Now to be compared to the Beatles, well thats an accolade in itself for any band, but for Liam Gallagher to compare a band to the Beatles, let’s just say they must be pretty chuffed with themselves. After all, Liam thinks so highly of the John, Paul, George and Ringo quartet, that he even named one of his sons after them.
Currently on holidays with his family, wife Nicole and son Lennon, Liam also admitted to listening to the likes of Kasabian and Oldham band Twisted Wheel.
Not wanting to loose himself completely in the whole mayhem of being positive (must be the holiday sunshine), Liam did find the time whilst relaxing to update his Twitter page, telling how he had to ‘sort out‘ a little issue with a kid jumping on him in the pool in true Gallagher style.
He wrote: “In the pool, a kid just jumped on me head, had to have a word“.
