Diddy, The Actor
As if the world weren’t sick enough of Diddy, or whatever he’s calling himself these days, now we get to see the king of self-satisfaction forage out into the world of movies.
The irritating producer slash rapper will be appearing in a spin-off of the film Forgetting Sarah Marshall, which shall be called Get Him to the Greek. Already, I’m completely uninterested in watching it.
Combs will have a starring role alongside such actors as Elisabeth Moss (of Mad Men), Rose Byrne (Knowing), Jonah Hill and Rusel Brand. The sitcom will be produced by Judd Apatow and directed by Nicholas Stoller.
In the film, Combs will play himself – er, I mean he’ll play some dude named Sergio, who is an executive at his own record label. Yeah!
Moss will have the role of Daphne Binks, the girlfriend of Aaron Greenberg – who will be played by Hill. Brand has the role of the stereotypical degenerate musician, this one by the name of Aldous Snow. Bryne will play a scandalized pop star called Jackie Q who is also Snow’s love interest in the movie.
If for some reason you’re dying to see this, you’re going to have to wait until April 2010, its release date.
