Amy Winehouse asks Mark Ronson to Save New Album

Amy Winehouse has asked producer Mark Ronson for help with her new album.

Previously we reported in our article ‘Amy Whinehouse has Album Rejected’, how Amy’s record bosses had expressed their strong dislike for her new material, penned while she was on retreat in the Carribean Island, St Lucia, saying her new work was too ‘Reagge‘ for their liking.

Ronson was the wonder behind Amy’s 2006 hit album ‘Back to Black’ which sold over 11 milloin copies and found her worldwide recognition, and Amy is hopeful that with Ronson helping her to re-record her new material it will get her record label, Island Records, approval.

Ronson and Winehouse worked together briefly last year , attempting a recording for the James Bond Theme, Quantum Of Solace, but Amy’s troubled lifestyle saw the working relationship fall apart.

A source told the Sun Newspaper, “Mark does not have fond memories of collaborating with Amy last year. He said he wouldn’t work with her again until she had her drug problems under control. He thinks she’s much better now so has agreed to come on board and do a little work with her on some of her songs.”
