Bob Dylan, The Dead Sign up for Rothbury Fest
The second annual Rothbury, the weekend-long festival (produced by Madison House Presents and AEG Live) is going to host some big name acts this year, however old they may be – including The Dead, Bob Dylan, the String Cheese Incident, Willie Nelson & Family, and the Black Crowes are among the headliners at the event. The festival will take place July 2-5 in Rothbury, Michigan at the Double JJ Ranch.
Organizers of the show are aiming at (near) zero-waste from the event, by utilizing sustainability initiatives, and like last year they are organizing the Rothbury Think Tank (educational sessions/community discussions that focus on economy issues) – even if there was a low turnout for the program last year.
The festival has faced some recent problems: some of last year’s proceeds were seized by a federal judge, and the Double JJ Ranch was foreclosed upon – not to mention the state of the current economy.
