Chris Brown Makes Court Appearance
Chris Brown has been charged with two felonies in the Rihanna ordeal, and he appeared briefly in court just hours after these charges were made. His arraignment, however, was postponed until April 6. The charges he now faces are of assault likely to cause great bodily injury, and making criminal threats (for threatening to kill his girlfriend Rihanna).
He was ordered by a court commissioner not to harass, threaten, or harm anyone. He is still free on $50,000 bail. Rihanna’s attorney, Donald Etra, requested that Brown not be ordered to stay away from her, and this was granted.
Details were released from the fight between the couple, in which Brown allegedly punched Rihanna, bit her ear, and attempted to choke her until she was almost unconscious. The fight began when Rihanna found a text message from another woman on Brown’s cell phone.
It seems unlikely that Doublemint will ever ask him to be their spokesperson ever again.
Etra did not say whether Rihanna would testify against Brown, and did not confirm whether the couple has gotten back together. Although a lot of stories are saying that they have been seen together.
It is clear from Rihanna‘s attorney requesting not to give Brown a restraining order that the pair are together again.
Rihanna must simply be incredibly stupid. The guy beat the crap out of her. Is she thinking that that is the worst thing that is going to happen to her? He also had a text message from another woman on his phone.
How many more clues does she need that this guy is a loser?
