Britney Scared of Ex-Manager

Britney Spears‘  hairdresser, Roberta Romero, gave some testimony that was a bit more sensational than that of Papa Spears in the case seeking restraining orders against Spears’ former manager, Sam Lutfi, and ex-boyfriend/paparazzo Adnan Ghalib. While Papa Spears didn’t present much of a case for his restraining order requests (much to the delight of the defense), Romero said that Britney told her she was “scared” of her ex-manager/ex-friend OsamaSamLutfi.

Her testimony came yesterday, when the judge extended Britney’s temporary restraining orders against both men while the entire crew awaits their April 1 date, when further testimony will be heard.

Britney made this comment to her hairstylist after Lufti sent her a massive amount of text messages in December. Romero also confirmed that Lutfi was attempting to get her to relay messages to Britney, including the comment that Lutfi was trying to “free” her – presumably from the confines of the conservatorship.

Romero only spoke to Lutfi once over the phone, and she testified that he was not threatening during their phone conversation. However, Britney asked that Romero not talk to Lutfi.

She told me she’s scared of him and not to talk to him,” reported Romero.

A few of the text messages sent to Romero were read to the court, including one that said, “Very close to getting her free now.

Personally I’m more curious about the ex-boyfriend, Ghalib, who is not represented in this case, though he showed up in a Van Nuys courtroom over a related matter. He actually tried to run over the process server who attempted to deliver his summons for the Britney restraining order case with his car, and is facing three felony charges.

The server apparently broke his wrist while clinging to the hood of Ghalib’s car.Nice.
