Bruised Rihanna Shows Up on TMZ, Turns 21
TMZ posted a pic last night that they claim is Rihanna after Chris Brown was through with her – and it surely looks like her, but it isn’t pretty.
The image puts the welts above each of the woman’s eyebrows on display, as well as bruising/marks on her cheeks and lips, and swelling in general on her face. No remarks from TMZ as to how they obtained this photo or from whom it was obtained.
Immediately after it was posted, the Los Angeles Police Department was investigating (internally) its leak, and asking the public for any information they might have.
Police hardly confirmed that this was a picture they themselves had taken, but did say that it “has the appearance” of one taken for their investigation of the allegations against Chris Brown. According to the department, anyone within their ranks that leaked the picture could be terminated, as this represented serious misconduct.
Rihanna has still not made a public statement concerning this incident. She turns 21 years old today.
