Britney Sued By Restrained Lufti, Near Breakdown
Britney’s former partner in crime/manager Osama “Sam” Lufti filed a lawsuit against her and her parents, claiming libel and defamation. The claim was filed yesterday in Los Angeles Superior Court, a mere three days after Britney and co. obtained a restraining order against him and Britney’s former boyfriend, scum paparazzo Adnan Ghalib.
Part of Lufti’s claim is that Lynne Spears’ book Through the Storm is full of “false statements.” He also claims to have urged Britney to makeup with her parents.
A British tabloid is claiming that Britney’s life isn’t as peachy as it may seem (uh, if being twenty-seven and living under your father’s care/work schedule and not having custody of your kids seems peachy to you). A source told The Sun that
“Britney is in danger of not going on tour as she has been having paralyzing panic attacks.”
Also: “She has been telling her doctor she feels under pressure and ill when she thinks about touring. She is worried about being on the road without her kids, and fears that her performance will be branded a flop.”
It’s not especially surprising that Spears would be feeling the pressure of having to be her entire family’s meal ticket. TMZ reported that Britney is threatening to cancel her tour if her kids can’t come along, and is even offering to bring K-fed along (and to pay for troubles – he would get $4,000 a week, even if he didn’t show up).
