Latest Leona Lewis Video and Upcoming Album
Though Leona Lewis’ debut album is still working pretty hard for her, she isn’t going to waste any time about getting started on her next album – which is what she’s doing right now.
Lewis’ debut Spirit has sold over a million copies in the U.S., and “Bleeding Love” rose all the way to the top of the singles chart. Spirit is up for three assorted Grammys, and the album is being re-released with four bonus tracks and a DVD package.
For Leona Lewis’ video for the single “I Will Be,” you may have noticed that Gossip Girl star Chase Crawford is along for the ride.
On Crawford, Lewis said:
“I’m just so glad that he wanted to do it and get involved. He truly is such a lovely, lovely person and so great to get along with, and really kind of helped me because there’s an acting scene in the beginning. So I got to feed off of what he was doing.”
In the video Crawford plays – surprise! – the love interest. Of course Lewis had a “great experience” on the shoot. Apparently the singer is also a huge Gossip Girl fan, and Crawford was her first choice for the part.
As to what is actually going on in that video, your guess is as good as mine. Lewis appears to be on the run from the police, and decides to go it alone, and on foot. The video ends with a singing Lewis caught in police headlights, never to meet up with Gossip Girl love interest.
