Paramore To Tour With No Doubt This Summer
Paramore will be No Doubt’s opening act this summer for the band’s first tour in five years. The tour will begin in May, though dates and locations have not been announced. The third band will be a rotation between the likes of The Sounds, Janelle Monae, and Bedouin Soundclash.
There is one confirmed date for the Live Nation tour, at New Jersey’s Bamboozle Festival on May 3. It has, however, been revealed that the tour is to hit outdoor amphitheatres and arenas in North America.
According to Gwen Stefani:
“The whole reason for going on this tour was to have fun, try on all our favorite songs again and to get inspired to make new music. If feels good to be all together again.”
No Doubt seems to be working on a new studio album even during all of this tour preparation; its release date has not been announced.
Paramore is to continue touring the 2007 album Riot!, thus far the seller of 1.13 million copies.
If it’s all the same, I think I’ll set aside my middle school nostalgia for No Doubt and just wait around for Gwen’s next solo album.
