Courtney Love, an anti-Semitic Jewban?

Yes, a Jewban is partially Jewish and partially Cuban person– and yes, it’s a commonly known word in Miami. Courtney Love identified herself thus as she was being interviewed by Heeb magazine, and made headlines by using anti-Semitic phrases such as “Jew loan officiers,” and “Jew private banks,” making the politically correct news media vomit in their mouths a little bit.

Her identity as a Jewban is perhaps questionable – Love herself claims Buddhism as her creed, but her mother’s biological mother was Paula Fox, a renowned Jewish novelist. Paula Fox had given Love’s mother up for adoption, and Love met Fox just once during a Passover, and it seems neither took a liking to the other.

Anyway, Love was asked by the magazine about her Golden Globe nomination, and responded in part with, “Every time you buy a Nirvana record, part of that money is not going to Kurt’s child, or to me, it’s going to a handful of Jew loan officers, Jew private banks, it’s going to lawyers who are also bankers, it’s going to sixty PAs.”

If being a part of the group is what qualifies such a critique (or whatever you’d rather call it), I’m not so sure one meeting with an estranged Jewish grandmother really qualifies Love to open her mouth. Courtney’s obviously pissed at her grandmommy (who previously informed The New York Times Magazine that she didn’t appreciate Love’s language), and celebs have made worse anti-Semitic remarks (cough cough Mel Gibson).

disgraceful and she should go into therapy and have her head examined. Maybe do something like read and not be so ignorant. She should be banned from anything with awards until she apologizes.
