Amy Winehouse Alive and Thrilled, Husband Files for Divorce
The Good News: Amy Winehouse spoke publically about actually being sober as well as in love. She told News of the World that she quit the crack pipe “for good,” permanently escaping “from hell.” Apparently she went on vacation in St. Lucia and found a new man as well, 21-year-old Josh Bowman. Winehouse claims she’s “never felt so happy,” seeing as how her new boy toy “couldn’t be more different from my husband.” (If you thought 21 was a bit young for Amy, maybe you didn’t know that she’s only 25 years old. Yes, her age is tough to call on looks alone.)
Winehouse told the British newspaper: “When I’m with Josh I don’t need drugs to feel good because he makes me feel so amazing.” About her husband she said: “I’ll deal with Blake when I get back. But our whole marriage is based on doing drugs.”
The Bad News: The attorney for Amy Winehouse’s incarcerated husband (serving a sentence for a parole violation) reported that Blake Fielder-Civil desires a divorce from Winehouse, on the grounds of her having a new boyfriend.
The couple had married in Miami in May of 2007, though Fielder-Civil was arrested a mere six months later and thrown in jail for assault. After he was released that November into a rehab facility, he was quickly returned to prison some weeks later for violating conditions of his bail.
Don’t worry, Blake, it probably won’t be too difficult to find another woman to smoke crack with, as well as put up with your cheating ways.
