Merry Christmas from Britney, Papa Spears gets a raise
Britney Spears put up a Christmas ecard on her website on December 23, according to US Weekly. Everybody’s doing it! The card of course features her own little celeb creations, Sean Preston, now 3 years old, and Jayden James, 2 (because what would a celeb ecard be without the presence of children!).
There are two pictures of the boys, one of which features the kids in Grandpa Spears’ glasses; both pictures show Spears wrapping her arms around her sons. And the photo’s greeting?
“Happy Holidays! Love Britney, Jayden James and Sean Preston (and Papa’s Glasses)”.
Grandpa Spears was also in the news recently, when a judge awarded him a raise for doing some extra work on Britney’s behalf. He’s now making what amounts to $75 an hour, or a $51,000 raise. Jamie Spears (Britney‘s father) is making $16,000 a month, and he was also awarded backpay. This means he is claiming around a 12-hour day, 5 days a week.
Additionally, Grandpa was awarded a $1,200 monthly stipend for maintaining his own office – the Los Angeles Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz claimed it was justifiable by the work Jamie had been doing to turn Britney’s life (and especially career) around.
Jamie has done a superb job reviving Britney from the depths that she had slumped to but from some of the stars appearances recently show that she is still clearly not fully ‘Britney Spears‘. Perhaps the mindset is to get her back doing her job which will remove her from the nonsense that surrounds her daily life. One can only hope that this is the correct way forward.
Grandpa Spears had a good holiday season with that money he was awarded.
Yeah I agree about what she needs to do to go forward. Eliminating the negative nonsense can go along way for anyone, including her.

I saw Britney appear on a talent contest for singers earlier this month. All the singers perform live each night the show is on.
Britney comes on, mimes, walks about like a limp duck and exits. Definitely a bit of work left to do for Jamie.
