Morrissey’s new album, Years of Refusal, is now due out stateside on February 17 on the Lost Highway label. The album’s release will of course be coupled by a U.S. tour that includes three New York City shows (Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall, and Carnegie Hall).

The first single from the album, “I’m Throwing My Arms Around Paris,” will be released February 9. When the album was previewed in London last week, it also featured “Black Cloud,” whose album counterpart features the guitar talents of Jeff Beck.

Lost Highway is a bit of a strange choice for Morrissey, being more commonly known for releasing country and roots acts like Willie Nelson, Lyle Lovett, Ryan Adams, and Lucinda Williams.
