Dr Dre’s Son Found Dead in California Home
Reports have confirmed that Dr Dre’s young son has been found dead at this US home in California.
Andre Young Jr, 20, the son of the US rapper was found dead by his mother in his bedroom at 10am on Saturday morning.
Reports are suggesting that the young lad had returned from a Friday night out at around 5.30am as reported earlier by the Los Angles Times.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious but are awaiting toxicology reports to determine the likely cause of death.
Dr Dre’s publicist released a statement earlier today to confirm the young mans death saying:
“Dr. Dre is mourning the loss of his son Andre Young Jr. Please respect his family’s grief and privacy at this time.”
Dr Dre is expected to release his new studio album, ‘Detox’, later this year as we reported in our article Dr Dre Launches His Own Drinks Range.
This is the long-awaited follow up to his strangely titled multi-platinum selling album called “2001” which was released in 1999.
