Phil Collins Hit For £25 million
Three wives down and Phil Collins has handed out over a third of his fortune in divorce settlements.
In what is believed to be the largest showbiz divorce settlement in British history, Collins has officially parted company with his third wife, Orianne Cevey, by dropping £25million ($50million) in her account.
To think that we all felt sorry for Sir Paul McCartney when he paid out £24.4 to Heather Mills earlier this year.
Collins met Ms Cevey while on tour, and still married to his then second wife Ms Tavelman. Orianne was 22 at the time which meant that there was a 22 year age gap between them – Nice going Phil. The couple married after 5 years and have two children together. The pair were a couple for seven years before they split.
It is not all doom and gloom for Collins though, he still has two thirds of his fortune left (£140 million) and is now linked to US newsreader Dana Tyler (49).
