Kanye West: Not Signed Up For The Britney Come-Back
Kanye West will not be helping Britney in her come-back efforts if his latest statement is anything to go by.
Kanye has placed a post on his own website http://www.kanyeuniversecity.com/blog/, entitled the post “CLARITY POST:I HAVE NOT SIGNED UP 2 DO BRITNEY SPEARS MUSIC”, he simply says :
“Clarity post will be my new thing 2 de-spell all false rumors… short and sweet!”
Somehow i don’t think he can make things much clearer than that. The news seems to come as a welcome relief for Kanye fans, who obviously fear the collaboration wouldn’t do much for Kayne’s reputation.
From past comments it seems that the rapper-turned producer may not be Britney’s biggest fan. Of her performance at last years MTV Awards he was quoted as saying :
“I just felt like she wasn’t ready and I felt like they had to get their ratings. … It just shows you it’s not a black and white thing; it’s a money thing.I felt bad for her too. I felt bad for everyone involved.”
Meanwhile, Kanye made his only planned visit to the UK last week – performing at the Global Gathering festival in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
